As a client's self esteem is enhanced, he or she learns how to let go of fears and is able to live in the world with a better sense of self.
I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Fordham University where I graduated with honors and achieved summa cum laud status. As a result of my training at Rye Psychiatric Hospital, Family Service of Westchester and the Mental Health Association of Westchester, I developed an interest in Cognitive and Behavioral Psychotherapy and Clinical Hypnosis. Over the years, the use of both of these modalities have provided exceptionally positive results for my clients.
In addition to the above credentials, I am certified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist by the Wellness Institute and am currently affilated with the following professional organizations: Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society, Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology, The National Association of Social Workers, and the New York State Society of Certified Social Workers. I served as a former member of NAFE, a female executive mentoring organization and have had numerous speaking engagements in front of public school educators. I am also the former host of a WLNA radio talk show called "Insights".
